All about
Exercise Medicine
Exercise: sport, physical activity and all active movement in our everyday life helps us to maintain and improve our health and well-being. Exercise can help us remain strong for life: from our muscles and bones to our mental health, through all life stages.
The evidence for exercise in helping people manage health conditions including heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and cancer is very strong. Exercise Medicine is informed by the research in sport and exercise science and medicine to ensure that the care we offer is the best for your health and goals, and individualised to support you.
For athletes -whether you pursue sport for personal enjoyment or also have competitive goals it's vital that injury or illness don't derail your plans
